This welfare barge conversion involved adding toilet, canteen, kitchen and drying room facilities to a barge for use on the UK’s canals and waterways. This project saw the barge overhauled with a new generator and battery system added.

The barge was modified for to allow for the addtional space and weight, using materials that are designed with project with high exposure to water or moisture in mind.
